Why should we be surprised, Southerland is a tea party Republican and all of them are opposed to anything that requires a subsidy, unless anything is anything other than rail, in which case it is good. Boyd was a supporter of Amtrak. I can tell you that my so-called Representative, A. Crenshaw has been in DC for several terms now, always runs unopposed, and takes the same position.

I've got Stearns; 'nuff said! I haven't been keeping up with the story, but he might be in trouble this time around due to the redistricting fiasco statewide.

I have found Stearns' Orange Park office to be a little helpful and though I am in Crenshaw's district, STearns has always been cordial when approached on the subject, but Crenshaw will brush you off in 2 seconds if approached on the subject, any subject other than the military in fact.

Don't forget, house transportation committee chair John Mica faces a primary challenge within his own party, incumbent vs. incumbent, thanks to the redrawn districts!

Okay guys in central Florida. There's your chance. If the opponent to Mica seems at all leaning toward helping our cause, boot Mica out (with your vote).
