    The writer of that article should be made to repeat Journalism 101. Folks, the "commuter train" known as the Sunset Limited ain't gonna come back east of NOLA, so forget about it.

      The "commuter train" won't return in most of our lifetimes because of three factors--
      1. John McCain
      2. Obama erred in pushing HSR, now everyone equates anything on
      rails with HSR, so therefore it is too costly.
      3. The mood in DC does not bode well for any subsidized
      transportation that does not rely on wings or rubber tires.

      Having said that, there is abundant reasons why the service SHOULD RETURN, they are just irrelevant to those who have the money to elect representatives.

        It's doom and gloom comments like those above that get us nowhere. Just because you THINK, does not mean it IS! Look up both words in the dictionary and you WILL find different definitions.
