Amtrak Seeking to Improve Silver Star

If Amtrak wants to improve its Silver Star route, the train really needs to be operating on the same schedule that the Champion had back in 1979. That would allow for a daytime service Tampa-Raleigh and give Raleigh the night train to the north to compliment its daytime Carolinian train.
However, the better thing Amtrak needs to do is going back to offering a split operation of both of its trains to run separately south of Jacksonville or Orlando to Tampa and Miami.
