Correction to the article, as it incorrectly identified I-5, not I-4, as the transportation corridor between Tampa and Orlando. A slip of the key in typing?
anyhow, former governor Jeb Bush had designated the middle of I-4 as a future potential right-of-way for high-speed rail while he was in office, and why, now, they bring up these threats of floods in the right-of-way or it not being wide enough? that is nothing more than toll road troll trash talk. We need to hold their feet to the fire for building a rail right-of-way in the middle of I-4, including those newly and recently elected, especially the governor.
