I read the article mentioned above. It seems like a lot of those opposed to the Sunrail project want to leave us frozen in time with clogged freeways and bankrupt toll roads to pay for. If Disney World is going to be the only theme park stop on the high-speed rail, fine! Walt Disney said "I've always loved trains!" and that is past, present, and future. If the other Orlando-based theme parks want toll roads, they don't need my money, and I don't blame the high speed rail project for counting them out. The state toll road system is one reason our state has financial troubles; close the booths and raise the gas tax to pay for those bankrupt roads-needles to say the detriment they have been to Florida's agriculture industry since no environmental impact report was made on soem of them prior to construction. the state can't even get a reasonable bid to privatize these @#$%+?*& toll roads even after lowering the minmum bid! Who LIKES TO PAY tolls and pay more to drive?

It is just a bunch of NIMBYs that have sipped too much Cato Institute and Reason Foundation Tea, just like King Scott. I see no future for any rail venture in Florida until King Scott is out of office and by then it may be too late to do any good.
The rest of you folks elected him, I DID NOT.
