New Tunnel Project, Penn Station Improvements Announced for New York

The northern terminus of Amtrak's New York-Florida trains may be getting some relief in the future, thanks to a new project announced today.

This project was announced in the wake of the failed New Jersey Transit "ARC" tunnel project.

Amtrak is a partner in the new improvements, dubbed "The Gateway".
