Promoting passenger trains as a transportation alternative in Florida since 1983.  We are citizens who advocate for Amtrak, commuter rail, intercity rail and transit for Florida's future.

We may lose our only pro-rail congressperson too

It has been reported around Jacksonville that Yost is running ahead of
Brown in District 3.  Hard to imagine since  District 3 is heavily Democrat.

If you want to continue with any passenger rail in/out of Florida, I suggest a vote against changing district 3 boundaries, which are, yes,
gerrymandered, but it helps US.

Also, if you live in District 3, a vote for Corinne Brown is a vote for passenger rail, otherwise------

Agree that we need Brown to prevail in District 3; hard to believe she will be defeated.

Gerrymandering is an evil that needs to be stopped, and I will not act on your suggestion to vote against it in spite of my pro-rail allegiance.

Jerry, thanks for posting this. Your posting is a call to action for all of us.

I would encourage FCRP members to learn about the passenger rail positions of the candidates in your respective locales.

Moreover, each of us needs to out there and VOTE for pro-rail candidates.

Doing so is more important than ever!
