I have a CDL and I have driven my truck across this crossing numerous times. The failure of the state to place an advance traffic signal BEFORE the tracks going northbound on County Line Road rests squarely FDOT's shoulders. The flashing yellow light is NO FIX for the problem and is nothing more than a cheap way out to avoid the costs. If that light is green when I cross the tracks, I don't give a damn about the light at US-92 from that point on since technically, and legally, according to the DOT regulations, I'm already in the intersection, entering on a green signal, and entitled to finish going through the intersection. They need to DELAY the green signal for US-92 to allow traffic on County Line Road to safely clear BOTH US-92 AND the CSX tracks! A short green light less than 10 seconds for County Line Road is an invitation to trouble! Maybe the state will wake up when they get sued and they deserve to lose the case!
