National Train Day at Tampa Union Station on May 11 a Success!

In case you missed it, National Train Day at Tampa Union Station (which was co-sponsored by the Coalition) was a success.

It is estimated that 3,000 people attended National Train Day 2013 at Tampa Union Station, earning new friends for the station, Amtrak, and rail travel.

We also received some good media coverage before and after the event and most importantly, spread the word about FCRP and NARP, handing out literature and membership applications for both organizations.

Here are links to media coverage from the Tampa Tribune about the event:

Thank you to all who attended and those who volunteered at the FCRP and NARP table, as well as with other aspects of the event!

A special thanks goes to NARP Chairman Bob Stewart for serving as our master of ceremonies!
