    The population is too dense in the northeast for building a new right-of-way. A new tunnel under the Hudson would be in order, but I really think they better get the aging cantenary and electrical power systems repalced first. I reacll a picture I saw in Trains magazine showing a few examples of this laying on David Gunn's desk while he was CEO of Amtrak.
