This message board is kind of dead (understatement!).  Thought I'd liven things up by reporting that there's lots of chatter on other rail-oriented websites about the possibility of Amtrak running down the east coast of Florida over the FEC.  Story is that the property is in excellent shape, roadbed and track-wise, and all that would be required is rehabbing/rebuilding passenger stations along the route.  Comments, anyone?
