Celebrating the 145th Anniversary of the driving of the Golden Spike marking the completion of the transcontinental railroad and the 75th Anniversary of the Silver Service New York-Florida trains!

National Train Day at Tampa Union Station returns on Saturday, May 10! 

The Tampa celebration will feature:

Amtrak and privately-owned railroad equipment on display!

Live music!

Food trucks!

Model railroad displays!

Exhibits! From community and transportation organizations like the Tampa Bay History Center, the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library, the Florida Coalition of Rail Passengers, Operation Lifesaver and many more! 

This family-friendly event is in its 7th year in Tampa and is completely free.
