Join FCRP and NARP for a fun and informative Spring Member Luncheon, Meeting and Tour of SunRail's Operations Center and Maintenance Facility!
The agenda so far:
  • 12 noon with lunch (ala carte) at Restaurant called 310 PARK SOUTH actual address 310 So Park Ave (2 blocks from station)
  • 1:15 Speaker and speaker and updates from NARP and FCRP
  • 1:50 Meeting portion adjourned and walk to station
  • 2:11 board SunRail northbound (round trip tickets ala carte price e.g. $3.50 per)
  • 2:40 arrive Sanford where we will be shuttled to the SunRail Operations Center
  • 3:15 or so tour the SunRail Maintenance Facility
  • 4:36 board SunRail southbound
  • 5:06 arrive Winter Park
  • Drinks and dinner on own

There is one stipulation however when it comes to the Maintenance Facility tour. SunRail requires the following safety gear: Safety goggles, reflective vests, hard hats and work boots (something with a rubber sole).  * Also long pants and shirts with sleeves must be worn.

If you wish to take the tour of the SunRail Maintenance Facility, FCRP will supply the goggles, vests and hard hats, but please bring your own work boots.
Registration is now open and will close out the 6th of March. Those interested in the Maintenance area please indicate so we can provide the equipment for all.
This looks to be a great opportunity. The registration fee will help offset shuttle service to and from the Sanford stop as well as safety equipment (except for work boots).
