In Tampa, over 2,460 went through the cars versus 1,711 last year and 1,832 in 2012. There were a LOT of people, with a total up to 3,000 plus passengers who used the station that day. Lots of families and kids, lots of media, live Bay News 9 and news features from Channel 13 (Fox) and Channel 8 (NBC). Single-level equipment (a coach, sleeper, and lounge car, plus a locomotive) were supplied by Amtrak for the event.
